A Loss for Words

There’s so much to write about but I don’t know where to start.

When I started my blogging journey in 2018, it was all about me. I didn’t care if anyone read my blog or not. It was merely my way of coping with pain riddled throughout my body due to the horrible effects of rheumatoid arthritis. For me, writing was great therapy so once that pain was diagnosed and controlled, I was able to change course and write about more light-hearted true stories.

The last few posts about my mom and dad navigating their golden years together were (by far) some of my favorites. With their permission, I started posting about them on January 1, 2022. Even though their story was not always “pretty,” I was still excited to share it. Life is tough but their journey is a true love story.

I was just getting started and never thought my mom would pass away before the end of the month I started writing about them.

It’s been five long months without her. I miss her tremendously.

I plan to continue to write, but I’m still at a loss for words…
